How we use your personal data when you visit this site or write to us.
OneMaris is an individual project run by Ahmet Bilgiç, who is the data controller for this website. Contact: contact@onemaris.com.
To keep the site running, investigate errors and prevent misuse, your IP address, the time of your visit and the page requested may be kept in server records. If you write to us by e-mail, we use your e-mail address and your message to reply. If you use the contact form, we receive your e-mail address and message, and any optional details you choose to add (name, company, role, fleet size, enquiry type and product area). The form delivers them to our mailbox by e-mail so that we can reply; the website does not keep a separate copy. Your IP address is also used to limit repeated submissions. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited (such as the page viewed, the time, an approximate location and general device information); see the Cookies page for details. This information is collected automatically while you use the site and through the e-mails and contact form messages you send.
Server records and correspondence rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and answering the messages that reach us, provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed. Where the law requires it, fulfilment of a legal obligation or the establishment and protection of a right may also apply.
We use service providers to host our website and handle e-mail communications. Where necessary to provide these services, personal data is shared with hosting and e-mail service providers outside Türkiye. If you consent to Google Analytics, measurement data is processed outside Türkiye by Google. Data may also be shared with competent authorities where legally required.
E-mail correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed to follow up the matter it concerns. When that need ends it is deleted; records needed for a legal retention obligation or for the protection of a right are assessed separately. The current retention setting for the application's security and error logs is seven days. This setting does not state how long provider backups are kept. We have set Google Analytics’ retention period for user-level and event-level data to 2 months. Aggregated statistical reports are not affected by this period.
Under KVKK you may learn whether your personal data is processed, the purpose of processing, whether it is used in line with that purpose and the parties to whom it has been transferred. You may ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected, for deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met, and for these actions to be notified to the parties concerned. You may object to a result produced against you solely by automated analysis and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. To apply, write to contact@onemaris.com; other application routes provided by law remain available.
